The Egnatia Odos bridge G6 is located at CH 14+400 of section 4.2.2 (Grevena-Kozani) and carries the separated carriageways of the Artery over Aliakmon river. The total bridge length of 280m comprises seven equal spans of 40,0m each. The deck structure is formed by four precast posttensioned beams with in situ deck slab which is made continuous over the piers. Deck beams bear via elastomeric bearings on hollow rectangular piers with heights 15m to 25m. All piers are on bored pile foundations.
